Well it was a long road trip how is everyone doing?
How is the ride from New Orleans to Lancaster?
I hope it was not as boring as a trip from say Chicago to Lincoln Nebraska. That shit is rough brothers. Now that I look at it it’s probably a good trip you’re going through hillbilly heaven. Missisippi, Alabama, Georgia, South and North Carolina, Virginia.
Did you meet any Right Wing Evangelicals along the way, Pentecostal Snake Charmers?
So we talked about seeing some odd American attractions along the drive. Did you get to stop and see the worlds largest office chair or the Berman Museum of World History in Anniston Alabama or Atom Bomb Dropped Here in Mars Bluff South Carolina?
I’m telling you that is a bucket list item of mine. If I ever won the lottery I would buy a big ass RV and take the kids to see the most effed up attractions in America. I think it would be a blast.
I know you two tech nerds are not Apple fans but are you hearing the sales numbers on the iPhone 6? 10 million in a few days.
I seriously feel like Apple has all of their fanboys in a trance. The stuff on the new iPhone is stuff us Android users have had for 2 years starting with a bigger screen.
I mean even in the design area where Apple always shines, they copied the look of the HTC One M8 which I own BTW. You want a real phone buy that bad boy and you can now get it as a Windows phone Holy cow.
I will say I think us android user have an inferiority complex though. There are endless articles comparing the iPhone 6 to the other flagship phones.
Scotland Independence vote. Do any of you have any details on this?
I don’t get why this is even up for a vote. There must be something in what amount to their state constitution that allows them to vote for idependance. It’s dumb. To me it’s like Texas being able to secede from the US. Did you guys know that Texas give more money to the Federal Government than it gets back? So we can stop all talk of Texas leaving the US it isn’t possible unless they fight their way out and I don’t care how many people carry guns in Texas they aren’t gonna defeat the US military. Sorry Texas I love ya but you aren’t leaving.
Hey John you and I have spoken about sunglasses a time or two. Well I came across a really cool company called Fuse. They manufacture super high quality lenses in 28 different colors and variations for some for some of the most popular brands like Oakley, Bolle, DKNY, Ray-Ban, Revo, etc. I know you’re sort of like me you have a bunch of decent sunglass and I take pretty good care of them. No matter how well you take care of sunglasses you’re always gonna get scratches and stuff. I have a pair of 5 or 6 year old Bolle Kings and the anti glare coating on the back is starting to wear, so I bought a new pair because the frame fits so well on my fat head. The others have been relegated to football practice and cutting grass.
So I found Fuse and sure as shit they have replacement lenses for the King frames and now I have a new pair of sunglasses with Blue Mirrored Zeiss polarized lenses. Here is the kicker, if they don’t have your sunglasses in their data base you can send your frames in and they will custom make those bitches for you in any color. Are you smelling what I’m stepping in fellas? That’s why you listen to this most glorious podcast. I win 1-0.
