So, you are a regular, single guy. You find yourself out and about at the grocery store. What was it you had to get again? Something basic, right? Why do you always forget?
Don’t worry! For your help, here is the constant Regular Dude Shopping List:
TOILET PAPER
The most important item. You might have some at home? Buy some anyway.
BEER
The second most important item. Stock up, because running out is a sad, sad, night.
MEAT
Beef, chicken, turkey, cold cuts, whatever. Just make sure you have some.
BREAD
A little bread never hurt anyone. (Okay, carbs, but…) The hankering for a sandwich can pop up at any time. Be prepared.
SHAMPOO
You can use it for soap if you have to, but you cannot use soap as shampoo.
DEODORANT
Can’t be smelling badly. Stock up. It never hurts to have some extra.
SNACKS
You get hungry. Buy some snacks.
COFFEE
Running out of coffee can be like running out of…zzzzz….
PROTEIN POWDER/BARS
Post gym needs. Don’t give yourself more excuses to not go to the gym.
PAPER PLATES/CUPS/NAPKINS
Washing dishes is lame. Sure, the environment is important, but you are saving water, right? Right?
HOT SAUCE/SRIRACHA
It makes everything better.
SALAD DRESSING
It makes everything better.
CHEESE
It makes everything better.
CONDOMS
They make everything safer. And, frankly, you always want to have some on hand.
FROZEN FOOD
Quick food. French fries, quick meals, pot pies…something has to go in freezer, right?
EGGS
The one thing you can make easily and quickly. Plus, they go bad fast, so you probably need some more.
CEREAL
Because sometimes Rice Krispies (or Chex, or CTC) NEEDS to happen.
MILK
It will go bad, but you will buy it anyway.
BATTERIES
Two words: Remote Control.
BABY CARROTS
You need something to hang out in the fridge to remind you that you eat healthily.
BACON
No explanation needed.
