These days it seems as though every famous person who dies is rumored to still be alive. So which of the following celebrities didn’t really pass away when we thought they did?

Elvis Presley – Almost Certainly Dead

I don’t want to ruin anyone’s day but I think Elvis might really be dead. I don’t why but I have just got this hunch that he isn’t walking the Earth anymore. He supposedly died in 1977 at the age of 42 due to drowning in a giant vat of peanut butter or something. However, numerous crackpots have told us since that they have seen him eating a hamburger, that it is a wax dummy in his coffin, that his death certificate was wrong and that he faked his own death to escape from the pressures of fame.

Michael Jackson – Probably Dead But Who Knows?

The story of Michael Jackson is very similar to the story of Elvis Presley in that, well, they both died but not everyone believes they did. The King of Pop died 32 years after the King of Rock and Roll. His death caused Twitter and Google to crash and it was one of those days few of us will ever forget. Is he still alive though? The main crux of the “Oh my God, he’s still alive” theory is that a shadowy figure was seen in his house after his death. Call me a cynic if you will but couldn’t it have been, like, someone else completely different? Oh, and the ambulance didn’t have its siren on and his mother was seen shopping the day after he died.

Adolf Hitler – Definitely Dead (Now, at Least)

Right, this guy is definitely dead now. If he were still alive he would be over 120 years old, so it is safe to say that the Nazi leader has popped his clogs, shuffled off his mortal coil and, to put it bluntly, croaked it. However, did he die in his bunker or did he flee to Argentina and spend the rest of his life listening to tango and eating dulce de leche? Russian soldiers supposedly found his lifeless body and buried him in an unmarked grave with indecent haste. The body has not yet been recovered and theories abound.

Anastasia – Definitely Dead

One of the most famous people who many claim didn’t die when we thought they did is the Grand Duchess Anastasia of Russia. She was the youngest daughter of the last Russian Tsar and her family was executed by the Bolshevik secret police back in 1918. Some crazy folk have claimed to be her in the past but recent scientific evidence from the royal family’s mass grave suggests that she really did die back then.

Jim Morrison – Maybe Dead, Maybe Alive

Here we have another music legend who didn’t really die. Or maybe he did. You see, his autopsy was a sham – they cut open a sheep or something I think – or else it wasn’t. His death certificate is a blatant fraud and he is still alive and going strong somewhere or else it was genuine and he really did die. This one is a possibility I reckon, although don’t let that put off going to see his empty grave in Paris next time you are there.

Famous People Who Maybe Didn’t Die and Bruce Lee

Any celebrity who dies a mysterious death is good news for the conspiracy theorists. No one really knows why Brue Lee “died”, therefore he is still alive. If he is still alive then he is in his 70s and has done a good job of keeping a low profile since his faked death. I couldn’t find much evidence of why people think he is still alive. Either he just died or else he did a great job of faking his death.
