Perhaps you forgot, or just haven’t been able to come up with an idea, whatever the reason there is no way you can face Valentines Day without some type of gift for your partner. If you are worried about your budget there are a few gifts that won’t break the bank, yet will show just how much you care.
Purchase several red or clear balloons and place some small items such as candles or candy, or even some hand made coupons offering things like a free massage or a night out on the town, inside of each one before blowing them up and then present the balloon bouquet to your loved one. Prepare a meal that consists of all red or heart shaped items, such as a heart shaped red velvet cake and mix up a Valentini (Champagne, Currant flavored vodka, lime juice and raspberry schnapps) to go along with it.
No woman can resist a love letter; or you can create a small booklet on which each page you write one reason that you love her. If you feel that your book making skills are not up to the job try cutting out several hearts and writing your reasons on them, once finished string them individually and then hang them from the ceiling so that it appears it is “raining love.” (Ok, it is a bit sappy, but she’ll love it).
Of course there is always one standby that never fails which is making a mixed CD of her favorite songs; or as a variant make it a compilation of the different love songs that tend to remind you of her. If you are musically inclined you can always serenade her with love songs while playing the guitar outside her window, or if you are really brave, outside of her office where her coworkers are sure to be envious.
Your gift doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive; it just needs to come from the heart.
