At some point in our lives we all dream of strolling into work and handing to our boss a resignation letter for a job we hate. If you want to do it in style then what about using these amazing resignation letters as inspiration?

If you were a computer programmer how would you quit your job? Well, you could do what this dude did and make your resignation into a version of a Super Mario game. An “I Quit!” message popped up every time the player got a mushroom.
The Cake That Quits
Our next resigning hero is called Chris Holmes. He worked at Stansted Airport in the UK but what he really wanted to do was make cakes. One day he baked a resignation letter and gave it to his boss. It isn’t reported whether the boss ate it or filed it in a cabinet along with other resignation letters.

This Ubisoft worker decided that a normal resignation letter wasn’t for them. Oh no, it would be a far better idea to create a sad little film noir animation, wouldn’t it be? Hell yes it would. So that’s what this crazy cat went and did.

So, this guy called Joey DeFrancesco worked in a hotel on Rhode Island and he wanted to quit his stupid job. So he did what any sensible Rhode Island hotel worker would do and hired a marching band to join him as he handed in his resignation letter. It seems as though this disgruntled worker hacked their own computer and then walked away from it, never again to return to their desk. Colleagues and bosses found this weird message sitting on their computer when they went over to it.

Crayons are far too rarely used in the context of professional resignation letters, I feel. This worker writes a pleasant, heartfelt letter but makes it feel that bit weirder by using a variety of coloured crayons to do it with.
The Dancing Resignation
Here we have a restaurant manager performing the timeless musical classic Ice, Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice. He changed the words to turn it into his amazing resignation letter and then rapped along to it. The incredible versatility of rap is once again proven to the world.
The Cupcake Resignation Letter
We have already seen someone resigning through the medium of baking but what if small cupcakes are more your thing? No problem, just make a whole bunch of them and then frost some words onto them. It’s a pretty time consuming way to tell your bosses that you quit but at least they’ll enjoy eating your amazing resignation letter.
The World of Warcraft Resignation
If you ever feel that you need to commit more of your time and energy to battling the Burning Legion then maybe you just need to resign from the job you hold in the real world. Another positive to come out of this is that it will be easier to visit Toronto, so it’s a big win all round really.
