Blake Griffin is a superstar. Quite frankly, he’s been an exciting player who has taken the league by storm.  Many expected Blake to be great, but his play has been off the wall with his athleticism and NBA Jam like dunks.

Blake will undoubtedly take his game to a whole new level during this NBA all-star weekend and will be anointed as a superstar.

As a superstar does Blake Griffin need a nickname?

I’ll come up with several suggestions and would like for you to decide in the comment section:

Griffin.

Simple, direct and part of his name. From Wikipedia, a Griffin is s a legendary creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. Why does a nickname have to be complicated? Look at the most established nickname in the game “Jordan” as it was never altered or changed.

Redbull.

A perfect combination if he were to be endorsed by Red bull. Blake is a ginger and has the agility and aggression of a bull.

Quake.

I love this nickname. It represents Blake’s game around the basket. He’s a Quake waiting to happen.
